This is the Title of the page, This will be displayed as the blue link on the Search Engines Results Page. The title tag should contain the target keyword which you are looking to rank for. The title tag should be equal to or less than 60 characters. It should not exceed more than 60 characters. Having numbers on the title tag will increase the click through rate (CTR) of the users.
The meta description is the small piece of descriptive content which is displayed below the URL on the SERP. When you are writing the meta description, you should write for the users and not for the search engines. You may have the keywords in it, but make sure you provide the data what the users are looking for. Meta descriptions should not exceed 160 characters.
When it comes to the URL optimization, make sure you don’t have unnecessary characters in the URL. Also, keep the URL short and sweet. Don’t have too lengthy urls with many words. Having the target keywords on the URL is always the best practice for SEO.
Image Alt Tags:
Add more media files like images in the content. Add relevant alt tags to the images. Google can’t read the images by default unless you give the proper relevant alt text. By using the Alt text of the images, Search Engines like Google can easily understand about the contents present in the particular webpage.
Content & Internal Linking:
Update the site with the fresh, unique and the relevant content. Google will help your webpage to move to the top only if the content is rich. Internal linking should be done within the website to help both the users and the crawlers to easily navigate through the website.
